MANIC is here and out now!

Made in collaboration with (and us ) Manic brings together years of ideas and work around stereo processing, the creation of stereo from mono, CV manipulation and combined processes such as ring modulation into wavefolding.

Not content with singular ‘flavours’ Manic is at it’s a core a VCA, but one that you can switch into bipolar mode for ring mod effects. The shape outputs then add additional magic to proceedings with clipping and wavefolding in not one but two flavours of each.

Testing a new to me MCU with a “Blinky”.

This is for the LED meters on the Nerve Vacuum Tube compressor.

The tube circuits have all been designed and sound great.

Once I figure out the code for the LED meters, I’ll be ready to order the first prototype.

Surgery Update: I underwent a TLIF (Transforaminal Lumbar Interbody Fusion) procedure on my L5 and S1 vertebrae. The surgery went successfully, and I’m feeling so much relief.

Before undergoing surgery I made notable headway on the ‘Nerve’ vacuum tube compressor module. Excited to be heading home tomorrow and soon transition from sketches to breadboarding the schematics I designed from my hospital bed.

I’m so glad to have a creative outlet in which to channel all the pain, fear, and nervous energy. 🎛️💡
