Meet Chez Nu đź‘‹
What happens when you stop buying everyday products and start making them yourself?

Chez Nu decided to put our re:Mix to the test, from homemade mayo and chocolate spread to ube ice cream, beetroot hummus, breadcrumbs and oat flour, they show just how versatile it can be.

But their favorite part? Using compatible glass jars instead of dedicated blender containers.

We loved seeing the re:Mix become part of their everyday kitchen routine!

đź«™ Before you blend: check your jar!

re:Mix is designed to give everyday glass jars a second life, but not every jar is safe to use.
Over time, glass can become weaker, especially when exposed to scratches, impacts or thermal shocks. That’s why a quick check before blending is always a good idea.

Before you start, make sure your jar has:
✔️ No cracks
✔️ No visible damage
✔️ No deep scratches
✔️ No signs of cloudiness or microcracks

And remember to avoid thermal shocks: for example, putting a very hot or frozen jar through sudden temperature changes. 🔥❄️

If you spot any damage, don’t use the jar for blending. Recycle it with your glass waste and grab another one instead. If you have any doubt, you can also ask us. We’ll be glad to help.

A few seconds of checking = a safer mix.
Save this checklist for your next blend!

🌱 Tiny seeds, big benefits: meet flax seeds.

Flax seeds are small, but they’re packed with nutrients: fiber, plant-based omega-3s (ALA), magnesium, iron, lignans… and more.

But here’s the interesting part: how you prepare them matters.
Blending flax seeds helps break their outer shell, making their nutrients more accessible. It can also help improve the availability of ALA and the bioavailability of lignans.

And the best part? Once blended, they’re super easy to add to your everyday meals.
✨ Smoothies & juices
✨ Soups & salads
✨ Bread & baking

So, next time you reach for your flax seeds… let your re:Mix do the work!
And now we want to know: what’s your favorite way to eat flax seeds?

A few simple habits = better blends, and a longer life for your re:Mix. đź’š
Just like any kitchen appliance, re:Mix works best when it’s used the right way. Luckily, there are only a few simple things to remember:

✅ Don’t press down on the jar while blending.
Let the blender do the work! Pressing on the jar creates unnecessary pressure and can become a safety hazard.

🌡️ Avoid blending ingredients above 40°C.
Warm is perfectly fine. Steaming hot isn’t. Keeping your ingredients below 40°C helps protect the blade head, which is made from a bio-based PLA material (made from corn, cassava, sugarcane, or sugar beet pulp!).

🫙 Don’t fill your jar above 70%.
Leaving a little room inside the jar allows ingredients to circulate properly, giving you smoother blends and helping prevent spills.

These small habits make blending easier, safer, and help keep your re:Mix performing at its best for years to come.
Save this guide for your next recipe, and share it with someone who’s just joined the re:Mix community!

♻️ We’re excited to be part of the new Circular Economy Hub Berlin!

The platform is now live and freely accessible, providing a knowledge hub designed to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in taking their first steps towards industrial circular economy practices. Alongside an introduction to the principles of the circular economy, it offers practical insights into circular strategies, real-world examples from Berlin-based companies, regulations, tools, funding opportunities, key initiatives in Berlin, and many other interactive features.

We’re proud to contribute with a Good Practice case, where we share our experience with modular, repair-friendly product design. A huge thank you to the team at TU Berlin and everyone involved in creating this valuable platform. We wish the Circular Economy Hub Berlin a successful launch and hope it will help many companies turn circular economy principles into real-world action.

How many compatible re:Mix jars do you walk past every week... without noticing? đź«™

One of the things we love most about re:Mix is that it works with everyday Twist-Off jars you can already find in supermarkets.
To make reusing jars even easier, we’ve created our Jar Library: a growing gallery of compatible jars we’ve spotted in supermarkets across France 🇫🇷 and Germany 🇩🇪 (link in bio)

From jam and pickles to nut butter jars... if it has a compatible TO82 lid, it might become your next smoothie jar.

But here’s the fun part:
We’d love to build this library with our community.

đź›’ Going grocery shopping? Spot a compatible jar?
📸Take a picture and send it to us by DM or email, so we can expanding the library together, one jar at a time.

đź’¬ Which country would you like to see added to our Jar Library?

Tiny seeds, big benefits 🌱
Chia seeds might be small… but they’re packed with nutrients.

They’re naturally rich in fiber, omega-3s, calcium, magnesium and antioxidants, making them an easy way to boost your everyday meals.

But here’s something many people don’t know 👇
Blending chia seeds can make them even better. Why?

✔️ It breaks the outer shell, making nutrients easier for your body to access.
✔️ It creates a much smoother, creamier texture (goodbye, slimy chia pudding 👋).
✔️ It blends seamlessly into smoothies, porridges or even baking, without changing the taste.

Here are some of our favorite ways to enjoy them:
🥣 Chia pudding
🥤 Smoothies & juices
🥗 Salads or soups
🥖 Mixed into bread or cake batter

And now we’re curious...
Team Chia or Team Flax Seeds? Tell us which one you prefer (and why!) in the comments.
