"Got them installed just few hours ago. So far so good. Very nice sounding just flat, I didn't realise that the lows had the shape they do. Glad I went to the 0.5dB for mixbus and mastering work, just 0.5dB on low and high bands and man it's singing really..

All very cool mate. I think it will nearly always be 0.5dB on the low and High bands for dance music work, nice shape it provides. Def got a nice colour to them, rounds just slightly but is also nice and punchy and sits things in the stereo image nicely.

Congrats on the product again, I know when I asked many many years ago if u would clone them that u thought was a big job. Glad u did and stuck with it.

I may even get another set but in 1dB for tracking work down the track."

Two PEV-C for Andy Bernbaum. Andy wasn't sure about the gain steps, so we mounted those gain setting resistors on sockets.

Today we are happy to release the PEV500, a high low - presence absence equalizer amplifier with 5 discrete opamps, 50 transistors in total, for 500 series racks.

We offer four different resistor sets and front panels for the gain steps of your choice (original PEV-B, original PEV-C, 1 dB or half dB steps).
Input transformer can be either Lundahl or Pikatron.

We have a limited quantity of DIY kits available,
EUR 405 with Lundahl input tranformer,
EUR 450 with Pikatron input transformer,
+ shipping + VAT if applicable.

With the Neumann OA10D style discrete opamps from , my Frank Lacy/JFL Allshelf has better transient response, clarity and definition, and more sparkle and weight. Thanks for your awesome work, Volker 🙏🏽 🎛️ who needs a Sontec with shelves like these? not me 🤓
