Cinema designers no longer have to choose between a visually pure LED-wall environment and truly convincing sound. ASCENDO’s multi-entry waveguide point-source architecture keeps timing coherent on- and off-axis, so dialogue locks to the image and spatial placement stays stable. Point-source coherence makes pans read as a continuous motion, not a handoff between drivers.
With 100° horizontal x 60° vertical dispersion, THE8 is engineered for clarity across seats and rows, maintaining timing, imaging, and dynamics across the listening area. A 12° wedge enables native down-firing above the screen and up-firing below, aiming energy into the listening area rather than into ceilings and floors.
Dual 8" woofers flank the coaxial 8" point source in a horizontal D’Appolito layout, delivering impact in the 75–250 Hz band with controlled dispersion. With up to 131 dB max SPL, THE8 offers high headroom, low fatigue, and the kind of dynamics that make the experience believable.
