🤝Today, 24 March 2026, the first global business and investment forum "EU-VIETNAM GLOBAL GATEWAY BUSINESS AND INVESTMENT FORUM" (GBIF) took place in Vietnam, aiming to facilitate communication and create stronger ties between the European and Vietnamese economies.

The meeting brought together, among others, EU Commissioner Jozef Síkela (DG for International Partnerships), Vice-President of the European Investment Bank Nicola Beer and Vietnamese government officials, along with key business leaders from both regions, to focus on strategic sectors that drive mutual growth between the EU and Vietnam.

🛡️Following on previous successful meetings, Jindřich Šavel, CEO of Czech technology company Novicom, also attended the meeting.

The GBIF forum focused primarily on supporting green energy and sustainable transport, and on Vietnam's digital transitions.

🤝 NOVICOM SOLUTIONS AT VIP IT CLUB
On Thursday, January 29, 2026, another "VIP IT Club" meeting was held in Prague, focused on security, cybersecurity and automation systems for companies in the arms, engineering and energy industries.

Novicom was a partner and one of the speakers at this meeting, which was organized by the CEDEG, z.s. organization in cooperation with the Národní klastrová asociace - National Cluster Association CZ, the Association of the Defense and Security Industry of the Czech Republic and the National Centre for Industry 4.0.

Novicom participated in the program of presentations entitled: "You can't see, You can't protect: How to gain full control over network management, including Network Access Control".

Most organizations are convinced that they know their network. They have network diagrams, IP plans and "some" documentation. But the actual state of the network infrastructure is often completely different – ​​outdated data, unknown devices, confusing IP address spaces and accesses that should not have existed long ago. And this is where most security incidents begin.

🛡️ Novicom's presentation showed why network visibility and network management are a basic prerequisite for cybersecurity. Jindřich Šavel, CEO of Novicom, explained how it is possible to reveal the actual state of the network and eliminate hidden risks, how to simplify network management and how to manage the IP address space, basic network services, network access and security policies in large networks in a long-term, systematic and minimal effort.
