Shining Light on IT Security’s Bright and Dark Sides 🔐

We're excited to share our experience from the 27th annual Forum 2000 conference in Prague. This year's theme was "For a Democratic World Order," and our contribution was a workshop moderated by our CTO, Valdemar Závadský, and CEO, Lucia Belkova.

Our session offered an insightful look into the pros and cons of recent IT innovations, featuring hands-on exercises and case studies. We tackled the latest developments in encryption, threat detection, and secure communication, as well as ethical dilemmas like data breaches and cybersecurity's impact on geopolitics.

The central theme was clear: everyone is hackable; it's just a matter of effort.

During the year, we always organise two company offsites 🌄 . One is more about building relationships, and the other is more about getting the work done.

Two weeks ago, we had the workshop 👨‍💻 👩‍💻 in the absolutely perfect Hotel Kouty , where the main topic for both two days was - how to effectively incorporate it into the work of developers, how to learn to ask questions correctly so that the answers are as accurate as possible, what scenarios can help our customers to become more efficient their work and finally understand how all documents and information will adequately support our work.

We want to thank 🙏 the external speaker Jan Romportl for incredibly inspiring discussions on AI, where we thought for a moment about what a leap change awaits us.

VOLUNTEERING AGAIN IN SKP HOPO 💪
Last week, we returned to SKP HOPO in Horní Počernice as volunteers and spent our working day by weeding, repairing, demolishing, building a shed's foundation, and other maintenance works. With even more people than the last time, 20 people, that's quite a lot of work that SKP HOPO would take several weeks.
