In the Export Data dialog, you can choose which parts of the results should be included and define the required format. Once configured, the data can be:

Clarity can control more than 1,100 instruments, but have you ever wondered what it takes to ADD A NEW CONTROL MODULE?

First, we need to understand the instrument’s language, its communication protocol, so Clarity knows how to exchange information with it.

Based on the protocol, a developer determines which commands and functions need to be supported and programs the control module. But writing the code is only part of the process.

Next comes extensive testing. We test different workflows, explore unusual scenarios, deliberately trigger error conditions, and fine-tune the driver through several rounds of testing and development.

All of this helps ensure that each new control module is ready for reliable everyday use.

Need a custom calculation? Extend your Result Table, not your workflow.

When the value you need is not part of the standard results, you do not necessarily need to add a separate data-processing step outside your chromatography software.

With User Columns in Clarity, you can create custom formulas and display the calculated values directly in the Result Table or Summary Table.

Build formulas using existing result columns, mathematical operators, and functions. Method and Analysis User Variables can also be included when the calculation requires values specific to a method or individual analysis.

User Columns can be used, for example, to calculate:

Multiple detector signals. One chromatogram. Too much to look at?

Using multiple detectors in a single chromatographic run can provide complementary information from the same sample. But with multisignal data, clear visualization becomes essential.

When several signals are displayed together, differences in peak height or overlapping traces may make data review more challenging.

Clarity offers several display options to help you focus on the signal you need:
✅ Scale signals separately when peak heights differ significantly
✅ Grey out inactive signals to reduce visual distraction
