We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior/Mid-Level Security DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for integrating security practices into our DevOps processes, ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of our systems. You will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to build and maintain secure, scalable, and automated infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security best practices into the CI/CD pipeline.
✅ Develop and maintain automated security tests and tools to identify vulnerabilities in code, infrastructure, and applications.
✅ Implement security monitoring and alerting systems. Assist in the investigation and response to security incidents.
✅ Manage and secure configuration files, infrastructure as code, and environment settings.
✅ Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and internal security policies.
✅ Perform regular vulnerability assessments and work with teams to remediate identified issues.
Qualifications:
✅ Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience:
✅ Junior Level: 2 years of experience in DevOps, IT operations, or a related field with some exposure to security practices.
✅ Mid-Level: 3-5 years of experience with a focus on integrating security into DevOps processes.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their security features.
- Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform).
