🎉 ThreatMark's Team Collaboration Day 🎉

Last month, ThreatMark's Fraud Fighters came for our first Collaboration Day. Full of brainstorming sessions and a dose of healthy competition, this gave us all an opportunity to come together as a team, meet with colleagues (new or otherwise!), and share knowledge.

Big shoutout to everyone who organized, participated, and contributed to making the day a resounding success! Together, we've laid the foundation for even greater achievements ahead. 🚀

Now, as we reflect and return to our daily tasks, let's keep the collaborative spirit alive with colleagues and other fraud fighters, continuing to support each other, bounce off ideas, and lend a hand when needed, just like we did on Collaboration Day. 💪

It would be a pity if a great product didn't find its great customers, right? And since ThreatMark now covers the global market 🌍, it is more than essential to have a person in charge who knows his way around. Let us introduce you to Lee Carter - VP of Sales EMEA 👨🏻‍💼.

Lee has worked across a multitude of sectors in his career, including finance, investments, recruitment, Telco, etc 💸📉. And after running a number of his own businesses, he decided a change of scenery was needed and the world of Identity and Fraud 🎭 came calling, which is where he has been for the past 12 years 🎉.

"My first opportunity in the Identity and Fraud space was with a small local company called GB Group back in 2011. There were only 65 people in the company when I joined with a single office in Chester and a UK-centric solution. When I left there were over 2000 employees across 19 countries with a truly global proposition. I see a lot of synergies between ThreatMark and GB Group when I started, the ambition, the people, the culture, and most importantly the product that truly differentiates us in the marketplace, which is why I’m so excited to be part of the team."👱🏻‍♂️👩🏻👦🏻

Lee's also chairman of his children’s grassroots football club and a huge Liverpool fan ⚽. During the pandemic, he did a sponsored head shave to raise money for the UK's National Health Service and raised nearly £2,000! 🕊

CYBER FRAUD FUSION CENTER. What’s the first thing that comes to your mind? Well, one of the answers could be security. Naturally, only the most responsible person could be in charge. And this person is Luboš Klinko – head of CFFC 🤸🏻‍♂️.

Luboš started as a network administrator, continued as a team training manager, and landed in ThreatMark as the head of CFFC 🔐 . It took him many years of persistency and hard work that resulted in over 13 years of experience in the management of support teams. And we’re still counting! 🚀

Luboš is a systematic worker and inspiration seeker who believes that communication 👨‍🏫 is one of the rocks that success is built on 🎇. He also says: “I have to trust the projects I am working on, and I devote all my time and energy to them. At the same time, I like to be surrounded by people who think similarly - we support each other, and we can trust each other.” 💆‍♂️

👻 The team spirit is anchored in his years of experience as a basketball player and a coach 🏀🧢, where he learned that some elements that work in team sports are also useful in professional life.

A rule he likes to follow: “Don’t fix what’s not broken.” 👨‍🔧

We know you're probably excited about the next face of ThreatMark, so without further ado, we're presenting you with our VP of Engineering - Petr Joachim 👨‍🔧 .

Having worked in the engineering business for more than 15 years, Petr joined ThreatMark in January 2022. The reason was simple: To lead the engineering team to where it needs to be in order to deliver a top-notch product 🏅🔥. Don’t get us wrong - we are very proud of our AFS and what it can do (miracles on demand 🙃 ), but there is always room for improvement. And that’s exactly what our engineering team does with Petr in charge 🐱‍🏍.

ThreatMark's a company where there's always a lot to learn (not only from professionals such as our co-founders and CEO but colleagues as well 🕺🕺 ). And even in his personal life, Petr is always looking for a new skill to learn (including discgolf 🥏 or archery🏹 - but he already mastered those 😉 ). He is a natural people person (and an experienced coach with strong tech background!), who tries to focus less on processes & control, and more on cooperation & trust. He believes that if he creates a perfect environment and supports the team as best as he can, the team will deliver 🤜🤛 .

Wouldn´t we all enjoy leadership like that? 😎

Probably the most important thing to know about Kryštof is that he speaks the language of technology and science 💻📖. After many individual projects, he’s found himself in a company where Michal (our co-founder) already worked. Sharing their visions, they soon realized that combining their powers will result in something outstanding. And in less than 2 years, their very own ThreatMark was established! 💡

Kryštof‘s unique approach and practical experience with high tech help apply state-of-the-art solutions to some of the most complex problems of the industry 🤓.Through his perfectionism and mentoring, he’s leading the Research and Development teams to extraordinary ideas and products.
