The Society for Tourism Development and Promotion of Paphos (STDPP) has applied an “Enriched Reality” app. Thanks to high technologies you can explore Petra tou Romiou beach and discover the myth of Aphrodite. Aphrodite's Birthplace app can give you an otherwise impossible experience, as you will have the chance to revive the myth and learn more about it in real-time, on the same location as it took place.

Other features include the option of taking a photograph of your friends and family on location – or even taking a selfie – with the illustrated goddess. Special signs on the beach give specific instructions how to make it work.

Spending a lot of time online? Here are some eye exercises to reduce eye strain:

• Blink gently and quickly for 2 minutes. This will improve blood circulation.
• Close your eyes completely, pause for two seconds, and then open them. Right after close your eyes again, pause for two seconds, squeeze your eyes, and then open them and relax. This blinking exercise can help keep the right amount of moisture in your eyes surface
•Hold one finger a few inches away from one eye.
Focus the gaze on the finger. Move the finger slowly away from the face. Focus on an object farther away, and then back on the finger.
Bring the finger back closer to the eye.
Focus on an object farther away.
• Keeping your eyes closed, gently press on your eyelids with three fingers. Pause for 1-2 seconds. Repeat 3 times.
• Cover your eyes with the palms and imagine something pleasant. Focus on that picture and relax.

These exercises are recommended to be performed 2-3 times a day, so that you won't have Computer Eye Strain.

A “toxic flood of electric and electronic waste” that is growing by the day across the world, should be urgently converted into a source of decent work, that can also protect populations from its harmful effects, the United Nations labour agency said. Global e-waste — discarded electrical and electronic equipment — will increase by 38 per cent in the decade between 2020 and 2030, according to a new United Nations University (UNU) report.

There was 53.6 million tonnes this waste in 2019, according to the report. It makes e-waste the world’s fastest-growing domestic waste stream, fueled mainly by higher consumption rates of electric and electronic equipment, short life-cycles, and few options for repair.
Proper e-waste management can help mitigate global warming and reduce the population health risk. However it is yet to be regulated in at least 115 countries.
