The 3rd Plenary Meeting of the FLECON-6G project was successfully held on 14–15 July 2026 at the Siemens Technology Center (STC) in Garching, Germany, hosted by Siemens. The meeting brought together all 19 consortium partners to review the project's technical progress, coordinate upcoming activities, and align on the next implementation and validation milestones. A major focus of the discussions was the integration of the project's Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs) and preparations for future demonstration and dissemination activities.

FLECON-6G is a Horizon Europe SNS JU project that aims to develop a flexible, AI-native "Network of Networks" architecture for future 6G systems. By combining Smart Marketplaces, Network Digital Twins, intent-based orchestration, trustworthy AI, and programmable network technologies, the project seeks to enable intelligent, automated, and collaborative management of heterogeneous communication infrastructures. Through its innovative architecture and real-world Proof-of-Concepts, FLECON-6G is laying the foundation for the next generation of scalable, resilient, and sustainable 6G connectivity.

As the leader of Work Package 6 (Dissemination, Communication & Exploitation), eBOS Technologies Ltd plays a key role in maximising the visibility, impact, and long-term sustainability of FLECON-6G. During the plenary meeting, Christos Skoufis, Deputy Head of R&D Projects at eBOS, presented the progress achieved in communication, dissemination, stakeholder engagement, and exploitation planning, while coordinating the project's upcoming outreach activities. In addition, eBOS leads the design and implementation of the FLECON-6G Smart Marketplace, a core architectural component enabling dynamic service discovery, resource trading, and collaboration across federated 6G ecosystems.

On 2–3 July 2026, the GENIUS consortium gathered in Aveiro, Portugal, for the project's Kick-Off Meeting, marking the start of an exciting journey towards the future of 6G-enabled connected and automated transportation and logistics.

During two productive days, partners aligned on the project vision, technical roadmap, use cases, and implementation strategy, while exploring demonstrations of the baseline testbeds that will support the development and validation of the GENIUS innovations.

GENIUS will address a diverse range of use cases across road, air, maritime, and multimodal transport, including UAV-assisted transport of medical samples, automated airport baggage handling, smart apron operations, maritime port logistics, and edge-assisted autonomous driving.

Within the project, eBOS will contribute to both the technical and strategic dimensions by leading the definition of the project requirements, architecture, KPIs/KVIs, and communication, dissemination, exploitation, and business modelling activities. Technically, eBOS will develop three AI-driven security assets: an AI/ML-based anomaly and threat detection engine, an AI-based decision engine for threat mitigation, and an AI-driven Software-Defined Perimeter (SDP) for secure and adaptive access management.

Together, the consortium is working towards delivering innovative 6G, AI, edge computing, and cybersecurity solutions that will enable safer, smarter, and more sustainable transportation and logistics ecosystems

eBOS Technologies is proud to have joined the Kick-off Meeting of FIDEL, a Horizon Europe Innovation Action bringing together 24 partners from 14 countries to fight illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing through digital innovation. The meeting took place in Volos, Greece, on the 23rd-24th June 2026, hosted by the University of Thessaly, and marked the official start of this three-year, €6M EU-funded project.

FIDEL develops a cutting-edge digital framework for fisheries monitoring, control and surveillance, integrating AI-based species recognition, blockchain data exchange, IoT vessel sensors, satellite surveillance, DNA identification and electronic logbooks into a single interoperable platform. Four pilot campaigns across European and international seas will validate these technologies in real operational conditions - with the goal of making sustainable, transparent and compliant fishing the norm across Europe.

eBOS Technologies serves as Innovation Manager and WP6 Leader in FIDEL, driving the project's exploitation and commercialisation strategy across the full consortium. Our team also leads the development of the project's blockchain/DLT infrastructure — a secure, energy-efficient data-sharing layer that enables trustworthy exchange of fisheries information between vessels, operators and competent authorities. We are proud to bring our expertise in distributed ledger technologies and innovation management to this vital initiative for Europe's seas and fishing communities.

BEYOND Expo 2026 has come to an end, but what remains goes far beyond the exhibition stands, numbers, and event halls.

For eBOS Technologies, BEYOND was about people, meaningful discussions, new ideas, and opportunities for collaboration.

From 17–19 June 2026, Dr. Charalambos Klitis (R&D Senior Project Manager) and Dr. Elisavet Grigoriou (R&D Program Manager) were pleased to participate in BEYOND Expo in Athens as part of the NCC-CY pavilion, organised in collaboration with the Office of the Commissioner of Communications, Digital Security Authority (DSA), Cyprus’ National Cybersecurity Coordination Centre (NCC).

This year’s theme, “BEYOND FRACTURES. Where Innovation Meets the Real Market”, strongly reflected what we experienced throughout the event: innovation becomes truly valuable when it connects with real market needs, businesses, public authorities, investors, and technology communities.

During the exhibition, eBOS presented its work in cybersecurity, secure digital infrastructures, and EU-funded R&I projects, with a special focus on the NERO Project, an EU-funded initiative supporting SMEs in strengthening cybersecurity awareness, resilience, and preparedness.

A warm thank you to everyone who visited us at the Cyprus pavilion, exchanged ideas with our team, and explored opportunities for future collaboration.

We are proud to contribute to Cyprus’ growing presence in the European cybersecurity and digital innovation ecosystem, and we look forward to building on the connections created at BEYOND Expo 2026.

The PAISES-6G consortium has held its official Kick-off Meeting on 10-11 June 2026 convened by project coordinator Pablo Serrano from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) in Madrid. The meeting brought together all 18 partner organisations from nine countries to align on objectives, governance and the technical roadmap for the three years ahead, marking the formal start of this Horizon Europe initiative.

PAISES-6G Pioneering AI-enhanced SEcure 6G Services framework is a 36-month Research and Innovation Action funded through the Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking (SNS JU). The project is building a comprehensive framework for next-generation 6G networks that are robust, secure and intelligent, integrating advanced AI/ML to deliver trustworthy security across every layer of the 6G ecosystem. Its focus areas span trusted AI/ML ex*****on, privacy-preserving services powered by digital twins and synthetic data, quantum-ready encryption, AI-driven cyber threat intelligence, and the secure, zero-touch deployment of AI across federated network domains, helping position Europe at the forefront of secure 6G.

eBOS leads the project's Dissemination and Communication activities (Task 7.1), shaping how PAISES-6G's results reach industry, the research community and the wider public. On the technical side, eBOS is developing an eXplainable Game-theory Intrusion Detection Engine, combining game theory and Explainable AI (XAI) to model attacker–defender dynamics, enable adaptive defence, and give security teams transparent, human-understandable insight into how threats are detected and mitigated.

We are proud to begin this journey alongside our partners.

PAISES-6G has received funding from the Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking (SNS JU: https://smart-networks.europa.eu) under the European Union's Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under Grant Agreement No. 101292896.
