Never defeat safety grounding — not even to fix a noise problem.

Like many, I defeated grounding a few times early in my career. I know better now — and I never do it today.

It’s unsafe, it’s against code, and you could be held legally liable if someone gets hurt or property is damaged.

Instead, learn to troubleshoot by thinking like a detective! I’ll leave some invaluable breadcrumbs in the comments.
