Bureau Telecommunicatie en Post Since 15 June 2001, BT&P started out as an independent public legal entity.

asks in the field of supervision on the energy sector (electricity, water and fuels) BT&P has become a multi-sector supervisor. In this regard it holds a number of useful technical and economic positions within specific market sectors in the Curaçao community. These sectors are:
- telephony sector;
- broadcasting sector (radio and television);
- sector cable television companies;
- postal sector;
- electricity sector;
- water sector;
- fuel sector. In the market sectors listed above, BT&P is in charge of supervision in terms of quality of the services provided or of the affordability of the rates for the end user. It ensures transparency and efficiency among the concessionaries, agents and other license holders.
