Three years in, and the Sunrock, Levi9 partnership just hit a new gear. 🤝

What started with architecture assessments has grown into a multi-team effort: data engineering, energy modeling, trading, and battery optimization. This quarter's QBR brought together Corneline Sijtsema as Sunrock's Director Digital, Technology and Data and Levi9's CCO - Bert Pluimers. The meeting showed how far this has come.

In 2026: AI. Four proof-of-concepts across Sunrock's business. A tailored training program has already been completed by all four Product Owners.

Building AI-powered product configurators for retail? The architecture matters more than the model.

When we built a furniture room planner for a retail client, the first version cost $3.00 per generation. Not viable at scale.

The fix wasn’t a smarter model. It was a cleaner split of responsibilities: AI handles style and preference, a deterministic engine handles the math. Cost dropped to $0.20. Token usage fell by 80%.

The lesson: the question isn’t just “can AI do this?” – it’s “should AI be the one doing this part?”

We got the chance to present the digital products we've built for VWPFS to their peers from Norway, Belgium, and Portugal – and it went brilliantly. 🚀

Over 15 people in the room, demo that sparked more questions than our 1-hour slot could handle, and once more AI stole the show – the enthusiasm in that room was real.

A big thank you to René Theuns and the entire VWPFS team for making this happen, and great to spend time with Mark Godthelp in an informal setting too. This is what great partnerships are built for.

Late last year, a new Levi9 team joined the Bynder journey – welcome, ApprovaL9!

To kick things off the right way, Bynder’s Engineering Director and Engineering Manager visited our Belgrade office for the Quarterly Business Review.

Some conversations are simply better in person – and alongside the QBR, we used the opportunity to kick off Q2 planning with two teams onsite – aligning on objectives, exchanging ideas, and doing what in-person meetings do best – creating real momentum.

Of course, it wasn’t all work – there was plenty of laughter along the way.

Great conversations, fresh ideas, and a strong focus on the future of AI!

We were happy to welcome our partners from Solo Midocean to the Levi9 Novi Sad office. Together with Bas Zeegers, Christian Amador, and Nerea Prados, the visit was marked by quarterly planning, an AI workshop, and an inspiration session where we explored new AI ideas, discussed process improvements using AI agents, and exchanged practical insights.

To kick things off, they were greeted by our News9 – featuring the latest AI topics, along with a closer look at their own tools, like Vectorize and AI Preview.

We had the Hunter Douglas team in Novi Sad last week, a visit that brought together new faces (their recently appointed Director of Digital & AI and Head of Engineering Delivery), a Quarterly Business Review, and some energizing conversations about AI and what's ahead in 2026.

Together, we're developing Dealer Connect, a European sales enablement platform that helps vendors and dealers manage catalogs, quotes, orders, and communication in one place. We've been pushing it forward with new features, stability improvements, and a complete UI/UX overhaul that makes it more intuitive and built for modern sales workflows.

Oh, and one more thing: before Hunter Douglas became our client, they were our blind supplier. Not every partnership starts in a boardroom, and those tend to be the best kind. 🪟
