The laser mapping scanner, 4DAGE MEGA. A single point scan with the 905nm LIDAR's ultra-high accuracy scanning will capture data for a modeling range of up to 260m. It can also produce 16K HD images and centimeter-level point cloud precision, which are widely utilized in industries such as construction, water conservation, emergency services, energy, museums, and BIM.

The debut of 4Dage Mega at the 8th international pipeline expo has garnered considerable attention. Using lidar, it acquires spatial data with an accuracy of ±1cm for both indoor and outdoor scanning. With the release of the new 3D camera imminent, 4DAGE has created some tutorials to walk users through the new product's functioning. The upcoming product is called 4DKankan Minion, and it features a significant improvement to the cover and sensor. Through the use of two lenses, high-quality 16K imagery is achieved, as is 360° rotation shooting for seamless image stitching. The Minion is adaptable to a variety of businesses.

In keeping with 4DAGE 's commitment to providing cutting-edge services to the surveying and mapping industries, 4Dage is back with another innovation, the 4DKanKan Laser.

We collaborated with the Longmen Grottoes to acquire point cloud data using laser technology throughout the testing period, reproducing the classic historical status for audiences across time and space. Adapts to both indoor and outdoor photography by using lidar to collect spatial data with a precision of ±2cm.

The need for virtual tours is getting higher and higher, and it is not only a representation of real-estate anymore. With the threat of the Covid, some institutes are looking for a substitute way to keep boosting their business, generating plenty of business strategies from switching their layout from physical to virtual.

Not to mention that the school. The pandemic limited faculty and students to take lectures and close the campus. With the new school year come, the campus can't even open a tour for visitors. It reduces the way of interactions. So that, the majority of schools go for virtual to publish a campus tour for all members, engage these people with a digital world. And here is a project that 4DKanKan Pro cooperated with UIC (Beijing Normal University - Hong Kong Baptist University United International College).
