Tiny channels, perfectly open. 👀

Printed on the UniFormation GK3 Pro with a 385nm light source, this flow-channel cube shows one of the key advantages of 385nm when printing clear resin.

Compared with 405nm, 385nm light has shallower pe*******on and higher energy, helping reduce unwanted resin curing inside tiny hollow channels and keeping those internal pathways clean and open.

Every manufacturing method has its strengths—and sometimes the best solution is using them together.

In this engineering project, The Amazing, PhD combined FDM printing with the UniFormation GK3 Pro to build a wearable pressure vessel. Large structural parts were printed with FDM, while the precision ratchet mechanisms were produced on the UniFormation GK3 Pro, where sharp edges and accurate engagement mattered most.

The result? Smooth first-time operation and a successful functional prototype, bringing the project one step closer to becoming a real product.
