The Four-Channel, Pluggable, Parallel, Fiber-Optic QSFP+ Active Optical Cable (AOC) to 4× SFP+ Active Optical Cable break-out solution is intended for 40G to 4×10G applications. This AOC is a high performance cable for short-range multi-lane data communication and interconnect applications. It integrates four data lanes in each direction with 40 Gbps aggregate bandwidth. Each lane can operate at 10.3125 Gbps. These cables also support 4 x 10G InfiniBand QDR applications and are backwards compatible to the 4 × 5G IB DDR and 4 ×2.5G IB single IB SDR applications. This Four-Channel, Pluggable, Parallel, Fiber-Optic QSFP+ Transceiver is designed ideal for InfiniBand FDR/QDR/DDR/SDR, 12G/10G/8G/4G/2G fiber channel, PCIe and SAS Applications. The QSFP full-duplex optical module offers 4 independent transmit and receive channels, each capable of 12.5Gbps operation for an aggregate data rate of 50Gbps 100m using OM3 fiber. These modules are designed to operate over multimode fiber systems using 850nm VCSEL laser array. An optical fiber ribbon cable with an MPO/MTPTM connector can be plugged into the QSFP module receptacle.
