In response to feedback from some users that the charging current in Simple Mode on the S8000 and S4000 Pro is initially around 350 mA and appears low, we would like to clarify the following:

In Simple Mode (Auto Mode), the charging current is dynamically determined based on factors such as battery type, voltage level, internal resistance, and charged capacity. The current will gradually increase during the charging process. This is normal operating behavior.

The charging current trend can be referenced from the S8000 Simple Mode charging curve:
The red curve represents Li-ion batteries
The blue curve represents Ni-MH batteries

Therefore, a lower current at the beginning of charging is expected, and it will increase progressively as charging continues.
