It’s hard to believe that nearly four years have passed since EPEIOS was founded. We are deeply grateful for the curiosity and interest from so many who have asked, “What kind of brand is EPEIOS?” and who have wanted to know more about us. Today, we’d like to share our story with you.
✨The Story of EPEIOS✨
EPEIOS is a young brand, born in Tokyo in December 2020.
Our journey began with a simple yet heartfelt desire: to create products that help people find moments of true relaxation at home, even amidst the busyness of daily life. Our goal is to enrich not only the spaces where we live, but also the hearts of those who use our products. With a focus on the essential areas of the home—living spaces, kitchens, and bathrooms—we continually seek ways to make these moments more comforting and peaceful.
🔗A Dream Encounter with a World-Renowned Designer
In 2021, we were fortunate to meet Mr. Benoît, who had served as Chief Designer at Hermès for 15 years. Alongside him and his close friend, Mr. Damien, former Art Director at Louis Vuitton, we set out to create something truly unique. With nearly 50 talented collaborators from Japan, France, and China, we spent over a year crafting our vision, and in November 2022, we were proud to launch the FoElem series.
☕️A Partnership with the World‘s Best Barista
In 2022, we had the honor of meeting Mr. Isaki, the world champion barista. He was inspired by the essence of EPEIOS, and together, we co-developed the Mocca coffee maker. We believe that with Mr. Isaki’s passion and precision, a single cup of coffee can elevate the simplest moments, bringing warmth and joy to our everyday lives.
Thanks to your continued support, EPEIOS products are now available at esteemed stores such as Tsutaya Kaden, Takashimaya, and Ginza Mitsukoshi.
💍The Bridal Project
In 2023, we launched our ’Bridal Project‘—a series of events that invited people to share in the joy of spending meaningful moments with loved ones. It was a beautiful way to celebrate the precious time and connections we share with those who matter most.

"Earth Day is an annual event on April 22 to demonstrate support for environmental protection. First held on April 22, 1970, it now includes a wide range of events coordinated globally by EARTHDAY".

The official theme of 2023 Earth Day is "Invest in Our Planet", which highlights the importance of dedicating our time, resources, and energy to solving climate change and other environmental issues. I

Last year, EPEIOS shared what we'd been doing since our brand was founded to contribute to the sustainable world. This year, in addition to keeping doing what we mentioned last time, we've also involved more actions:

🌎 Use Sustainable Moulded Pulp Instead Of Plastic🌏
Moulded (or molded) pulp is a highly sustainable packaging material that is made from renewable and biodegradable resources like recycled paper. As it features lower cost, more environmental-friendly, and lighter, using moulded pulp will be helpful for lower power consumption, hence energy saving. Starting from the 2nd half of 2022, EPEIOS has been dedicated to using moulded pulp on our new products as one of our small effort to bring affordable and clean energy, including EPEIOS HummingBird Pour Over Kettle, EPEIOS Heal Smart Humidifier, and more.

Of course, besides those "big actions", let's also make a pledge to do a few small things each day to a healthier place, like use less plastic straws, disposable tableware, and etc.
