Construct
The world is a construct.
We are preparing students to live in the world now and in the future.
We have two main types of people. Being Global citizens and Local citizens. No longer is culture a binding part of local citizens. It’s become fragmented and a tool to be used negatively. Some old culture tradition are practiced randomly.
Free play in EY is preparing those children for a romantic time of past. Children need access to today’s equipment. They use it in a safe place with qualified teachers preparing learning environments and activities.
People live local but holistically are in a global mindset unless they don’t take on the global mindset then they have a fragmented understanding of their world.
Our curriculums need to represent deep learning in core areas providing skills for the future using content and equipment available today.
