Congratulations to Mr. Isamu Akasaki, Mr. Hiroshi Amano and Mr. Shuji Nakamura on winning the Nobel Prize for Physics for creating the blue LED which led to the creation of the now-common LED lighting solutions.
It is about Approximately 20% of the world’s electricity is used for lighting and the increasing trend to switch to LED as a light source has saved tremendously on our electricity consumption and helped reduce the carbon footprint attributed to lighting.
The arrival of LED lighting product is changing the way homes and workplaces are lit, and allows Optiled for offering a longer-lasting and more efficient LED lighting products alternative to the incandescent bulbs and the CFLs
