Look at these metallic-looking little things in my hand. They are called resonant speakers, or some people call them vibrating horns. They are quite different from the speakers we usually see. They don't have those round paper cones. Instead, they rely on the "resonance" magic to produce sound.

The principle is actually very simple: If you attach it to objects like tables, glass, or wooden panels, the vibration units inside it will cause the entire contact surface to vibrate together. As a result, the ordinary tabletop or glass becomes a huge "sound membrane", and the entire table can sing along. Isn't that really amazing?

The biggest advantage of this type of speaker is that it is "invisible". It doesn't need exposed speakers and is particularly suitable for being made into concealed audio systems. For example, it can be installed in a smart home coffee table, a museum display cabinet, or an outdoor landscape seat. No one will be able to tell where the sound is coming from.

And it has an interesting feature: Different materials produce completely different sound qualities. When attached to glass, it will sound clear and bright; when attached to wood, it will become warm and rich, like giving the sound a "tone skin".

The sound travels through the surface of the object, and the sound quality is very clear within a certain range. It can also reduce noise interference from the surrounding environment. In some situations where quietness is needed and clear sound is desired, such as in guided tours in libraries or explanations in exhibition halls, it is perfect to use this type of speaker.
So, despite its small size, it can turn the things around it into speakers. This is the wonderful aspect of resonant speakers.
