🎓✨ 25 new software engineers. 100% employed. Zero dropout.

This week marks a proud milestone for Clemios: our second cohort of 25 trainees has officially completed their 18-month intensive training programme and started their engineering careers.

From September 2024 to February 2026, 21 young men and 4 young women from rural and conflict-affected communities across Cameroon trained full-time at our solar-powered centre in Bangangte. They learned software engineering from scratch, earned international cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and grew into confident, job-ready professionals.

Today, all 25 are formally employed:
🔹 8 engineers joined Clemios, working on software for the Cameroon and European markets
🔹 17 engineers joined SkyEngPro, contributing to international software projects

All 20 were hired through our partner adorsys and 5 by Clemios, confirming what we set out to prove: that world-class engineering talent can be built right here in Cameroon, in a rural setting, with the right structure and commitment.

📊 The numbers speak for themselves:
✅ 25 enrolled, 25 completed, 25 employed
✅ 0% voluntary dropout
✅ Female participation doubled compared to Cohort 1 (from 2 to 4)
✅ 18 months of training with housing, meals, and health insurance, all provided free of charge

This brings our total to 49 graduates trained and employed across two cohorts, with a 100% employment rate.

💡 Cohort 2 is special because it also marks the beginning of Clemios's eMobility chapter. For the first time, our engineers are working directly on EV charging protocol integration, embedded systems, and OCPP software for German and European clients. This is not outsourcing. This is engineering partnership.

🔜 What comes next?
We are preparing Cohort 3, scaling to 100 trainees across 4 solar-powered training centres, with new specialisations in eMobility and embedded systems engineering.

To our Cohort 2 graduates: you worked hard, you stayed committed, and you earned this. Welcome to the profession. 🙌

"Day 1 to Day 4: Embedded Systems Programming at Clemios

Our second batch of trainees has been making incredible strides in their Embedded Systems Programming training. Here's what they've been up to:

Day 1: A solid foundation in C programming with arrays, pointers, memory management, and Makefile creation.
Day 2: Hands-on work with microcontroller architecture, GPIO programming, and timers/PWM using Libopencm3.
Day 3: Exploring data sampling with ADC, DAC, and DMA to handle analog signals.
Day 4: Mastering serial communication with U(S)ART and I²C protocols.
This intensive program is shaping tomorrow's tech leaders, ready to bring innovation and expertise to real-world projects. We’re proud to invest in young talent and prepare them for the challenges of the tech industry.

Yesterday marked the exciting return of our trainees to their Clemios journey after the holiday break!

To kickstart the year, we had the honor of welcoming one of our esteemed instructors from Germany. He began an intensive two-week course on Embedded Systems Programming, a vital skill for the tech leaders of tomorrow.

The classroom was alive with energy and curiosity as trainees dived into the world of embedded systems, ready to unlock new opportunities and knowledge.
