Worldcall 2018 5th WorldCALL Conference, to be hosted by the University of Concepcion, Chile.

WorldCALL is the worldwide professional association for teachers and educators interested in Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL). WorldCALL aims to enhance computer-assisted language teaching and learning in the global community by bringing together educators from around the world. As an international association, WorldCALL provides a worldwide platform for the promulgation of innovative re

search, development and practice in education and training; enhances the opportunities for knowledge and skills transfer to nations currently underserved in the area of CALL; and serves as a forum for exchanging information and forging professional relationships among educators, researchers and industry leaders from around the world. WorldCALL has held an international conference every five years since its first conference in Australia in 1998. Since then, conferences have been held in Canada in 2003, Japan in 2008 and Scotland in 2013.

Dear colleagues,

The LatinCALL association welcomes you to our second free webinar, “Sharing Latin America with the World and the World with Latin America - The International Virtual Exchange Project”.

This webinar will demonstrate the importance of interculturalism within foreign language learning, in addition to noting how the development of digital literacies for global citizenship can be gained from participation in Virtual Exchange (VE). Language teachers' and students’ experiences with one such VE, the International Virtual Exchange Project (IVEProject), will be shared. Research showing the benefits and reflections upon participation in the IVEProject will be shown too. International education is a key word for many in Latin America now. This webinar will showcase some of what that means.
