We are starting a new chapter at WeSendit!

On 11/04, we announced our new, strengthened corporate leadership, with Swiss investors and the return of our founder. Our focus: Stability, Swissness, and genuine Web3 entrepreneurship.
On Friday (11/07), we have transparently layed out the facts about what this means for our $WSI ecosystem.

To ensure price stability and build a healthy foundation for onboarding corporate clients, we are strategically consolidating our $WSI token liquidity. Our future focus will be on PancakeSwap (WSI/WBNB) and Gate.io.

This step is crucial to reduce volatility and establish the $WSI token as a stable utility medium for our growing node network.

WeSendit embarks on the future with new leadership and a clear focus

WeSendit Media AG is entering a new phase: at the beginning of October, the company was acquired by two Swiss investors: apfeleins.group AG and 4 element Investments AG.

With the takeover, former board member Christian Busse takes over as president, succeeding Jens Herbst. At the same time, Dimitri Tirez, founder of WeSendit, returns as a board member and investor with his company apfeleins.group AG. Together with the new CEO Reto Massalongo, the management team is focusing on stability, clear goals, and the sustainable development of the platform.

WeSendit was founded with the vision of transferring large amounts of data securely, quickly, and independently. This idea remains the foundation of the company to this day. WeSendit has since evolved from a data transfer service to a provider of secure, decentralized data management, an area that is becoming increasingly important worldwide.

The new management team is focusing on placing even greater emphasis on Swissness and its values of security, precision, and trust. At the same time, the community will be actively involved in the further development of WeSendit 3.0.

The first strategic steps will become apparent in the coming days. These include delisting the WSI token on selected platforms in order to place greater emphasis on the technological core and benefits of the network.

CEO Reto Massalongo says:

WeSendit is looking ahead to sustainable development, genuine added value, and the targeted expansion of a decentralized, trustworthy data ecosystem.
