Success story “RA systems to Veeva Migration” 👇

Our Swiss Life Science customer was facing a complete carve-out of facilities, staff, applications, and data after the company was sold out. The new solution had to guarantee the ability to successfully pass future quality audits and to further ensure product and patient safety.

Three legacy Regulatory Affairs applications Aris Global Register (cloud-based), TrackWise (on-prem), and OpenText Content Server (on-prem) had to be consolidated and mapped into the target application Veeva Vault RIMS (cloud-based). Ensuring data integrity and completeness during the migration along with the validation process according to GAMP5 and extensive data mapping were the key challenges.

Data Migration is always a tough topic in the Life Science industry - see our latest blog on the Veeva data migration - which we had finished recently.

Regulatory Affairs data must always be underpinned by corresponding Quality processes, objects, data, and last but not least documents. Our new Life Science customer in Switzerland needs all quality documents after a carve-out from another Life Science company. The quality documents are stored in a validated OpenText Content Server Platform. The scope has been aligned, so it is clear what to extract and as for the how, IseoSolutions has come up with a cloning approach. While we all wish for something like that in our daily lives, cloning can already be used for data migration.

Imagine an OpenText Content Server with more than 2 TB of data and you only want a part of it to take with you and to start your instance and validate it on the way. To add another challenge, migrate from Oracle DB to MS SQL Server in parallel. That's exactly what we are planning to do in a few months.
