Excited to share that Sphynx CTO Dr. Michalis Smyrlis presented our latest research at the 2025 IEEE CSR Workshop on Information and Operational Technology Security (IOSEC).

Our paper, "SecAwarenessTruss: A Federated Cyber Range Solution for Critical Infrastructures," tackles a real problem we've observed in the field. How do you connect cyber risk assessment with hands-on training? Most organisations struggle to bridge this gap.

SecAwarenessTruss offers a federated cyber range framework that brings these two critical elements together. Through our Sphynx SPA Suite and Sphynx Cyber Range, we've developed tools that model cyber threats and create realistic simulation environments for both IT and OT systems.

What makes this particularly relevant? Critical infrastructure operators can now access risk-informed training that directly reflects their actual threat environment. It's not theoretical—it's based on real-world risk assessments.

Sphynx was proud to participate in the "Cybersecurity & Small and Medium-sized Enterprises" informational seminar on July 16, 2025, an important event organised in collaboration with Σύνδεσμος Ανώνυμων Εταιριών & Επιχειρηματικότητας.

Our CEO, Professor George Spanoudakis, addressed the modern cybersecurity challenges facing SMEs, with a focus on practical compliance with the NIS2 Directive. He presented Sphynx's comprehensive suite of products and services, which are designed to enhance business resilience and manage cyber risks effectively.

The significant attendance highlighted the growing recognition of cybersecurity as a critical component for the sustainability and growth of Greek SMEs.

The event also highlighted SPHYNX HELLAS SA’s offer of free SOC (Security Operations Centre) services for 12 months to Greek SMEs through the SOC4SME program, which is co-funded by the European Union.

We are looking for a DevOps & Network Engineer who lives in ARM templates and dreams in YAML. You'll be crafting Resource Groups, taming Application Gateways, and making NSGs make sense.

You should be comfortable handling Gitlab pipelines, Azure Monitor dashboards that provide value, and Log Analytics queries that reveal the truth.

We are looking for at least 3-5+ years experience in DevOps/Cloud Engineering with deep Azure networking expertise and proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation), strong background in CI/CD (GitLab), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and cybersecurity principles for secure infrastructure practices.

At the recent SecOPERA plenary meeting hosted by Technical University of Crete we reinforced our commitment to creating robust solutions that address the growing challenges in critical infrastructure sectors.

As a consortium partner, we are leveraging the scalability and adaptability of our Sphynx Security and Privacy Assurance (SPA) Suite to form the foundation of SecOPERA's security auditing engine for open-source software and hardware solutions.

What an exciting week in Cyprus! We're proud to have hosted the SYMBIOTIK project meetings, bringing together our partners from across Europe. On Tuesday, we held the project review meeting, followed by the plenary meeting on Wednesday.
