There is no design without nature. Bienvenue Studios turns nature into visual culture. Using the beauty of nature, we create an environment from which one can draw vitalizing strength and sensory stimulation, as well as aesthetic well-being. As graphic designers, we apply our core competence, Biophilic Design, to various materials and surfaces.

Our “Iridescence” collection explores the fascinating beauty and symbolism of beetles – creatures that have inspired myths and stories for thousands of years.

In ancient Egypt, the scarab was associated with the sun, rebirth and protection.

The collection translates this fascinating world into five nature-inspired prints celebrating these remarkable creatures.

"Organic Dialogue" at Zurich Design Weeks 🌿

Together with floral designer Teodora Sarandi Barresi, we created a temporary window installation at House of Interiors Switzerland, bringing our complete Small Print Collection into dialogue with her organic compositions.

Bringing together ten years of our print work, materials, forms and textures create a shared design language between precision and naturalness. The installation is constantly changing: as the organic elements slowly dry and transform in colour and form, the setting evolves with them.

Bring nature into your home – with our “Pacific Marks” A3 art prints 🪨

Inspired by stones shaped by tiny mollusks, the collection translates their unusual forms into minimal, nature-inspired wall art. Designed to work individually or as a series, the prints bring a quiet, organic presence into living spaces.

Each print is produced in Switzerland as a Risograph print on natural paper and is limited to an edition of 100.

A natural phenomenon for your wall 🪨

The big print "Pacific Marks" is inspired by an astonishing natural phenomenon: shells drilling perfect holes into rock.

The resulting stones are fragile and surprisingly light – an impression we translated into the design by making them appear to float above the paper.

Hand-produced in Zurich using silkscreen printing, multiple layers of colour give the art print its subtle depth.

One phenomenon, two collections 🪨🐚

Our "Pacific Settler" and "Pacific Marks" postcard collections explore two sides of the same natural process.

Young piddocks settle into small crevices in stone and gradually enlarge them with their sharp, ridged shells as they grow. After their life cycle ends, the mollusks disappear – leaving behind holes, hollows and naturally sculpted stones.

"Pacific Settler" focuses on the mollusks behind these formations, while "Pacific Marks" captures the traces they leave behind.

How can holes this perfect be made by nature? 🐚

When we first came across the stones behind our “Pacific Marks” collection, we thought their perfectly shaped holes must have been made by humans.

Through observation and research, we discovered their actual creators: rock-boring mollusks.

When young, they settle into tiny cracks in the rock. As they grow, they slowly enlarge their cavities, moving deeper into their stony homes until they are completely enclosed.

What surprised us next was how incredibly light and fragile the abandoned stones had become. Even a little pressure can cause them to break apart.

We wanted to capture this sense of fragility and weightlessness.

Finding the right contrast was key to revealing the delicate structures and cavities while making the stones appear to float above the paper.

The colours stay close to the stones’ natural tones, emphasizing their quiet and subtle character.

As the fragile rocks break away and soften over time, they become unusually light – inspiring a series of nature-inspired art prints in which the stones appear to float above the paper.

Visual Identity for Omé 🩶

For the Swiss label Omé, we developed a visual identity that reflects its combination of elegance, sustainability and conscious design.

The brand creates hair accessories from fabrics sourced from renowned haute couture houses, giving existing materials a new life as distinctive, high-quality pieces.

At the heart of the identity is a custom icon developed directly from the typography.

Its form recalls a clasp or ribbon, while its soft, almost heart-like shape adds warmth and approachability.

The symbol also became the foundation for a flexible graphic pattern system across packaging and printed materials.

A clear and timeless identity designed to translate Omé’s philosophy into a strong visual presence.
