It’s been a while…
but finally KIT is reunited with a new work! KIT is very excited to be part of the process of this music theater piece by - “Electric unconscious”. Together, the premiere will be in June, Zürich and at the Musikkitalo in October, Helsinki….a week of drones, experiments with pedals, and playing between these liminal spaces of the unconscious and consciousness of electricity… stay tuned for more, details to come ⚡️🎸🎷🎤🎧🔊🔜🔜🔜💊💊⚡️

In einer Tankstelle wird Kaffee getrunken, Zucker aufgetankt, aufs Klo gegangen, ein Auto geflickt, Benzin abgezapft und wieder losgefahren. Grundbedarf und globale Warenzirkulation treffen hier genauso aufeinander wie menschliche Handlungen und Elektromechanik, Reisefantasien und fossile Energien. Personal und Kund*innen erfüllen ihre Funktionen; der Alltag wiederholt sich ewig. In diesem posthumanen Ökosystem sind Musik und Aufmerksamkeit neu zu erfinden. Aus ungeahnten Klangsymbiosen mag ein radikal organischer Choral nachhallen, der unser gemeinsames Leben und dessen Fragilität zelebriert.
