Dealing with multiple data sources in a fractured online marketing world can be overwhelming and time-consuming.

By implementing marketing dashboards we hoped to help the marketing department get the visibility of their performance through real-time monitoring, as well as give product teams the insight they needed to easily understand how a project is performing.

In a series of articles (posted here), we will try and show why you should consider implementing marketing dashboards to your business and how it has benefited us so far:

1. Improved ROI of marketing activities

The consolidated data provided by marketing dashboards can help businesses identify strategies that are not working and replace them with more revenue-generating and financially beneficial ones.

2. Better team collaboration

Having all data combined and transformed into useful information that is presented in one place saves a lot of time and makes any decision-making much easier and more efficient.

3. Motivational tool

Dashboards show employees their performance compared to their goals. They can see the metrics move as a direct result of the work they put in.

4. Informed decision making

Using a dashboard leads to a better understanding of relationships within the data and the consequences of when certain marketing actions are taken. Well-designed dashboards fuel this process with crisp visualisations and advanced analytic methods, supporting the users in their day-to-day operational activities as well as in their long-term strategic decisions.

Social Login is a single sign-on for end users. Using existing login information from a social network provider like Facebook, Apple or Google, the user can sign into a third-party website instead of creating a new account specifically for that website. This simplifies registrations and logins for end users.

At M&P we have been experiencing great results when using this registration method and we would like to share it with you, so below you will find 5 ways Social Login has contributed to the growth of our products.

Increase registrations: according to a Web Hosting Buzz survey: 86% of users report being bothered by having to create new accounts on websites. The survey also states that 77% of respondents say that “Social Login is a good solution that should be on any site.”

Email is verified: The social network provider is in charge of verifying the user’s email. If the provider shares this information you will get a real email address rather than the fake addresses that some users typically use to register in web applications.

Access richer user profiles: Social network providers can give you additional information about users, such as location, interests, birthdays, and more. Using this data, you can target personalised content to the user.

Up-to-date profiles: Users do not tend to keep their profiles updated in most applications they use, but they do it on social networks. Therefore, having Social Login ensures that you have accurate information about your users.

One-click return experience: After users register in your application using Social Login, their return experience will be very simple, as they will probably be logged into the social network, and just one click will be enough to log in to your application.

Database indices is a very useful tool to improve speed of your queries to make your system more responsive. But of course, it comes at a price. We exchange storage (and memory) for performance.

With that in mind we've been looking for ways to reduce the size of our DB and by using PostgreSQL we were able to reduce its size by 20Gb.

A week ago, most of us knew each other only from online meetings.

Yesterday, we came back to our home countries as one close-knit team: That was the effect of the M&P Summer Camp 2021 in Istanbul.

33 M&P team members and our partners from Sobrado Software AG, Bontique and Realmatch spent one week working, presenting, discussing, programming, planning, sketching, mentoring (and partying) together.

M&P Summer Camp: A tradition that we followed each year since 2013* to unite our colleagues from Belarus 🇧🇾, Russia 🇷🇺, Poland 🇮🇩, Switzerland 🇨🇭 and Romania 🇷🇴.

A awesome experience for each participant! Thanks for everyone who attended!
