Viva Ticino!

🎉La rete PubliBike Lugano-Malcantone sarà ampliata, passando da 39 a 45 postazioni. 🥳

Alla rete PubliBike Lugano-Malcantone si aggiungeranno le seguenti stazioni: Parco Ciani, Via Loco, Lanchetta, Via Vignola, Davesco-Via Vecchio Tram. Successivamente sarà allestita anche la postazione Lamone-Cadempino FFS. Nella regione di Lugano i clienti avranno quindi a disposizione 45 postazioni e 400 biciclette, metà delle quali sono e-bike. Fino a oggi, su questa rete sono stati registrati circa 220’000 tragitti. Nel 2017 la rete di Lugano è stata interamente ammodernata, quindi estesa fino al Basso Malcantone e continuamente ampliata. PubliBike pianifica le sedi delle postazioni non solo insieme ai Comuni ma anche alle aziende, che possono richiedere l’apertura di postazioni al fine di promuovere la mobilità agevolata dei propri collaboratori.🌳

In questo particolare momento, il bike sharing è un interessante complemento al trasporto pubblico urbano.🚲Tuttavia, anche se le biciclette vengono sistematicamente disinfettate nell’officina PubliBike, è comunque raccomandato lavarsi o disinfettarsi accuratamente le mani prima e dopo l’uso.🤓

We got a bit distracted by all the changes we had to introduce due to and forgot all about welcoming our new colleagues: We are very happy to welcome Ralf Sommerfeld, Diana Schluep, Gian Hao Tan, Hao Mun Chen, Lee Lay Khoon, Yap Jun Een, Pascal Behm, Long Tian Sheng, Chan Shew Lan and Rachel Wong to our team. They joined us since November. Willkommen & selamat datang!

The last 12 years have been full of surprises both positive and negative of course. Most of them we were not asking for, but all of them teaching us important lessons.
The latest surprise is of course our current quarantined state. This too shall pass and leave more positive than negative memories and traces in our lives. Fingers crossed for that.
Until then - we are sending a big thank you to all the people we met in the first twelve years! We hope you are safe and look forward to meeting you again in the flesh and healthy.
