When a client sees a student-built solution and immediately asks, "Can we use this?" - you know something special has happened. Over the past month, 20 final-year students from the Faculty of Mathematics in Belgrade and the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad took part in the first edition of our Student Mentorship Program, working in five teams on open-source embedded technology projects. 🚀

Supported by their mentors: Marija Živanović, Božica Kalinić, Dušan Bajović, Aleksandar Paunović, and Nemanja Đekić, the students transformed ideas into working solutions, tackling real engineering challenges and gaining hands-on industry experience along the way.

This week, we had the pleasure of seeing the results: five project presentations, lessons learned, and reflections from both students and mentors. From contact management applications and video streaming solutions to device monitoring systems and embedded Linux integrations, the projects showcased not only technical skills but also teamwork, creativity, and ownership.

A special thank you to Luka Gavrić, Jovan Ležaja and Dušan Bajović, whose initiative and dedication helped bring this program to life! We believe that knowledge grows when it is shared. Seeing these talented students already creating solutions with real-world potential reminds us why investing in the next generation of engineers matters so much. 💜

Great teams don't just happen. This is how we build them. 🌴

Zühlke APAC Camp brought our colleagues together in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. With teams from Hong Kong and Vietnam, different backgrounds, one shared culture. Days of learning, collaboration, and the kind of moments that build real teams, solving problems together and spending time to get to know each other.

Growth isn't something we leave to chance. Camp is where we step away from the day-to-day to learn, connect, and grow together. 💜

Recently, we had the pleasure of welcoming students from the IV Belgrade Gymnasium to our Belgrade office as part of their Computer Science and Informatics programme.🎓

During the visit, students had the opportunity to explore our workspace, learn more about us and the world of software engineering, and join inspiring sessions led by our colleagues Viktorija Filipović Tošić and Vanja Ivković on software architecture, engineering practices, and career development in IT.

We’re always happy to open our doors to curious young minds and support the next generation of engineers by connecting education with real-world experience.

A big thank you to the students and professors for the visit and engaging discussions. We hope to see some of you again in the future! 💜

We fell in love with the atmosphere of Centrala Hub from the very first view! ✨ That was the perfect setting for the first-ever Zühlke meetup in Niš - an evening filled with engineering stories, knowledge sharing, questions, discussions, and new connections.

🎤 Kristijan Ilić shared practical insights into the hidden complexity behind developing medical software, where architecture, testing, release processes, and engineering decisions are shaped not only by technology, but also by regulation, risk, and responsibility toward the end user.

🎤 Vukan Cekić explored scalable event-driven architectures on Azure, diving into asynchronous communication, message-based integration, and tools such as Azure Service Bus and Event Grid for building robust cloud-native systems.

The talks sparked great discussions and meaningful connections that continued after the presentations ended.

Check out the video for a quick sneak peek into the atmosphere and highlights from the meetup 📹

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the very first Zühlke meetup in Niš such a great experience. See you at the next meetup! 🚀

What if AI could tune more than just your workflow?

In this next episode of our ‘AI+Me. Unprompted’ series, Tobias Rudolphi, our Head of Digital Solutions in Germany & Partner, shares how he blends decades of musical experience with AI to handle the technical side of his craft, letting him focus on the joy of performance that truly matters.

From wrestling with amps, pedals and endless configurations, to having an AI-powered guitar technician at his fingertips, Tobias now shapes his sound with a level of ease and precision that once felt out of reach.

A big thank you to Tobias for sharing his story and for showing us that innovation can also be something simple, practical, and surprisingly relatable, like a perfectly tuned guitar. 🎸

How do you use AI to sharpen the things you care about outside of work? Let us know in the comments below 💫

Last week, we took part in Girls’ Day 2026 across our locations in Eschborn, Hanover and Hamburg. Girls’ Day is a nationwide initiative that opens doors for girls and those who identify as girls to explore STEM careers through hands-on experiences within companies. 👩‍💻

We started the day with a relaxed breakfast, followed by guided tours of our sites. From there, it was time to dive in: participants explored programming, robotics, AI and digital product development through interactive sessions.

We wrapped up the day with a shared lunch and plenty of engaging conversations. A big thank you to everyone who brought their curiosity, creativity, and energy - it’s what made the day truly special. 💜

Last weekend, our team in Porto was featured on national TV (TVI, part of CNN Portugal), sharing a closer look at how inclusion and accessibility come to life across our workplace: https://bit.ly/4czJEtH

Caio, Ana and Melissa shared an important reminder that everyday interactions, awareness and care define real inclusion. Creating space for everyone to contribute starts long before the first day on the job. It means shaping environments, processes and mindsets so that people feel genuinely welcome, supported and able to do their best work. From thoughtful office design to more inclusive hiring practices, for us, it's about removing barriers that often go unseen.

Last Saturday, our team had a great time at the Geek Girls Portugal Conference in Porto – an inspiring event for an engaged community of women in tech. 👩‍💻

Our colleagues Uros, Rita and Erik delivered a workshop on developing AI-generated MVPs, sharing how to move beyond quick AI outputs towards structured, scalable solutions.

At the same time, our talent acquisition team, Ana, Predrag, Carlota and Slava, connected with many talented attendees at our career booth, discussing our culture, projects and open roles.

A big thank you to the conference organisers for creating such an inspiring space for learning, connection, and growth. Events like this demonstrate the significant impact we can achieve by coming together.

What if AI didn’t just help you get things done, but helped you create the moments that matter most?

In this next episode of our ‘AI+Me. Unprompted’ series, Kevin Lin, our Principal Software Architect, talks about how he uses AI to make his family road trips richer, more playful and more personal, turning travel planning into part of the adventure itself. 🚙

A big thank you to Kevin for sharing his story, and for reminding us that innovation doesn’t always look like disruption: sometimes it looks like a better holiday. 🌴

Let us know in the comments below how you use AI to enrich your life outside of work. And stay tuned for the next episode!
