Tropical Storm is expected to keep impacting parts of southern Japan as it meanders just offshore this weekend.

Current invest 98W is forecasted to intensify into a typhoon this week, and could impact anywhere from the Philippines to Japan by the end of the week shown by a few computer models. We'll be monitoring closely.

Another dangerous heatwave has its "eyes" set on central Europe next week as another strong sub-tropical anticyclone will establish itself over the Mediterranean Sea sending temperatures once again well above normal (temperatures pushing above 40*C).
