Today is Earth Day 🌍

A good moment to reflect on the impact of the technology we rely on every day.

We’re now 100% hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
On World Backup Day, we spoke about performance and security. Today, it’s about something else.

As a SaaS provider working with data and always-on systems, our industry isn’t exactly low impact - and that’s a fair criticism.

At the same time, not all infrastructure is equal.

By running on AWS, we rely on large-scale cloud infrastructure that is continuously improving its energy efficiency and environmental footprint.

It doesn’t make technology “green” overnight. But it’s a step in the right direction.

Because performance, reliability and responsibility should go hand in hand.
