Besides speed and lower transaction fees, it will allow for personalization, interactive reward programs (called token gating) and new sources of revenue. These tools will be the next generation of building consumer data sets. Unlike today’s models, these will be two way streets, where data and loyalty is exchanged for perks benefitting the consumer.
