Zweimal haben wir unsere Produktion "Reise in den Zauberwald" an der Kinder- und Jugenbuchmesse KIBUM in Oldenburg aufgeführt - vor vollen Rängen und Hunderten von Kindern, Eltern, Grosseltern. Celestino Piattis Fabelwesen und Waldtiere hatten ihren ganz grossen Auftritt!
Das diesjährige Motto lautete "Grüezi! Schweiz trifft KIBUM", Schirmherr war , unterstützt wurde die Messe u.a. von Pro Helvetia und der Botschaft der Schweiz in Deutschland.
Abends waren die Dinners am KIBUM-Tisch besonders vergnüglich: Ich musste bis nach Norddeutschland hochfahren, um meine NordSüd Verlag- Autoren-Kollegen Marcus Pfister und Daniel Fehr kennenzulernen! Schön war's!

Piatti-Mania & ! Wow, what an exciting exhibition opening yesterday night in Buxtehude! Around 120 guests, both from the local cultural scene as well as from the international crowd of creative minds attending the children‘s books illustration congress BUNTE HUNTE! As from today until february 2024 a selection of Piatti animals is on display, wonderfully curated by Susanne Keller & team . It‘s the first curated exhibition of Celestino Piatti‘s work in many decades, actually the first one after his death in 2007. There‘s also an accompagning booklet of 48 pages, edited and designed by of . Such a joy! It‘s really overwhelming and touching how much „Piatti enthusiasm“ there is, up in Northern Germany. A MILLION THANKS TO ALL PEOPLE INVOLVED IN THAT PROJECT, especially also to & ! More impressions will follow!

„Puzzeln mit Piatti“ (Jigsawing with Piatti) - another great co-production with and visual designer .kegreiss Here are a few first impressions from our epic puzzle/jigsaw night on 28 January > a more detailed report will follow. 32 teams were at the start! And numerous guests also visited us outside the competition in the Piatti Lounge and played the 500 and 100 jigsaw (at times it was so crowded, there were no tables left, so people had to play on the floor...). The prototype of our Piatti Memory with 36 motifs of fable creatures caused great delight, including the XXL version, and we have already been able to take orders (see link to our shop in bio). Our team worked 19 hours from setting up to taking down - but it was all worth it! It was a wonderful, social, creative event that showed how much fun it is to play analogue games together in a cosy atmosphere! And yes, we already have many ideas for follow-up events... many thanks to all our visitors and to the team!

„Everything I paint has eyes“ - „Alles, was ich male, hat Augen“… With this expressive book cover design "who's who in graphic art" we say goodbye to 2022 and thus also to "100 years of Celestino Piatti"! What an incredible anniversary year that was! More beautiful, more festive, more impactful and more emotional than we ever dared to imagine. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for organising and celebrating with us! Especially huge thanks goes to our partners and our creative minds: .mahu .kegreiss

Admittedly, we are a bit exhausted: But already in January we promise you that we will look back in detail and that we will soon announce new events.
We wish you all a wonderful party tonight and then a swinging start to 2023, full of ideas, colour and joie de vivre!
