Lu is the new periodical magazine of the City of Lugano. It is a publishing project that reveals a more unusual side of Lugano through images, words, portraits, details, and new perspectives. It is with great pleasure that we have been involved in the design of the magazine.
Our heartfelt thanks go to the editorial staff of the ‘Ufficio comunicazione della città di Lugano’: Jan Trautmann, Magda Mandelli, Eleonora Bourgoin, Vanni Moretti

Thank you to all our collaborators, friends and customers for your support and trust. See you next year!

The Vincenzo Vela Museum is a cultural institution under the jurisdiction of the Federal Office for Culture of the Swiss Confederation. Located in the historic 19th century building in Ligornetto (Cantone Ticino). On the occasion of its exhibition activities, the Museum publishes several catalogues dedicated to artists, often in collaboration with Swiss publishers. We designed the new graphic structure in harmony with the new brand identity and created a series of monographic notebooks.

The exhibition ‘The hidden sensor’ hosted at Museo Villa Pia, is part of the Foundation’s curatorial path, which has previously highlighted designers such as Bruno Monguzzi and Franco Livio. The choice of Aoi Huber Kono fits within this same area area of research: the dialogue between applied arts and contemporary visual languages.

Studio CCRZ, together with Sidi Vanetti, curated the exhibition and catalogue design.

THE GAME
Theatre company Trickster-p deepens and expands the research on games as potential art forms: THE GAME investigates the relationship between performance, game and society. Together with the authors, we designed the set design, with which the spectators interact. Materials, shapes, objects, pawns, colours, sounds and animations define an ideal landscape. The table is composed of modular elements that transform according to the dynamics of the game.

We are delighted to announce the reprinting of “Flora ferroviaria” and “Railway Flora.” A small botanical handbook – midway between a travel diary and a science manual – that tells of the astonishing proliferation of spontaneous plants in the vicinity of Chiasso’s international station.
