New financial disclosures show OnlyFans' late owner received over $700 million in dividends in the months before he died. The company posted $715M in pre-tax profit on $1.6B in revenue. Run by a staff of 47 people.

I've lost count of how many "page managers" I've met who talk about running a roster of OnlyFans models like it's a smart little side hustle they thought of all by themselves... a clever, unique business idea.

But strip away the smirk and it's just old math with a new platform: s*x workers carrying all the exposure, all the risk... and someone else carries the spreadsheet and the fattened wallet.

And here's what I need women to hear: this isn't unique to OnlyFans. This is just the version with the receipts.

The same math often runs quietly through regular businesses too. There are many industries built on women’s labor, with someone else sitting at the top collecting the money.

This is why women have to be fiercely committed to protecting ourselves in business... even when it costs us being liked. Even when we get labelled bitchy, shrewd or otherwise unpleasant..

We're not being bitchy. We're just intelligent enough to know exactly who our labor is building wealth for, and refusing to be the labor in someone else's profit margin.

…Following somebody and consuming their free content does not give you ownership over their ambition.

Your budget does not determine the value of another woman's business.

I priced my book too low when it came out. Multiple people, people I trust, told me to raise it.. And in the same breath, other people complained the price was too high.

I watched a video today by NiKol Johnson and she made some stellar points that I haven't stopped thinking about since...

Nobody else gets to dictate what an entrepreneur creates or what they charge.

And you definitely don't get to dictate how far they're allowed to evolve. If something isn't for you, you simply don't buy it. You not being able to afford it does not automatically mean it's overpriced.

It doesn't make the creator dishonest. It doesn't make the business undeserving of success.

The people in the comments aren't risking their savings. They're not developing a product or building a brand with their name attached to it. It is extremely easy to critique a woman from the sidelines. It takes real courage to build something and put your name, your reputation, your money, and your brand behind it.

You can't tell a woman to dream bigger and then punish her the second she does. You don't have to buy what she made.… But you also don't get to shrink her for making it.

So build it anyway. Price it like you mean it, put your name on it, and let the people on the sidelines stay there. Every woman who's ever done something worth talking about had critics before she had customers. Be her anyway.

Same video. Three platforms. Wildly different outcomes.

I posted this on TikTok and Facebook first... barely a blip. Reposted to Instagram and it's sitting at over half a million views, 26.1K shares, and I'm up almost 400 followers in just a couple days.

This is exactly why I tell people not to put all their eggs in one platform's basket. You genuinely cannot predict where something is gonna take off, and if I'd only been building on TikTok, this moment doesn't happen for me at all.

Being a highly visible person has its ups and downs, I won't pretend otherwise. But moments like this are a real reminder that social media has handed me opportunities that no other career path could've. 💕

5 years ago today. This is one of my first tiktoks ever 🫣🤣

Funny thing is… I was homeless at the time. I did have a roof over my head, but I wasn’t actually supposed to be there. I did not have a place to call my own, and I was living in a constant state of stress wondering if I would lose custody of my children because I couldn’t keep a roof over their heads.

At the point I recorded this, I was deeply considering doing onlyfans. I was terrified, but I knew that if I was going to make it someday, I had to do something drastic to make sure the bills were paid.

If anybody had looked at me at this point and told me I was going to go viral a whole bunch of times, and in five years be releasing my first book… I don’t know if I would’ve believed them 🫣

Gentle reminder to never give up on yourself 💕

Every photo in this book is my own photography.

"Secrets of a Former S*x Worker" came out of an era of my life where I was making really tough decisions just to survive... and somehow, 3 years later, I'm holding it and realizing I spun that whole era into gold. Not the mistake everyone assumes it was. Potentially one of the greatest things I've ever done for myself.

I don't know how it'll sell. I don't know how it'll be critiqued. Some people won't get past the title, and that's fine.

But I'm proud of myself for continuing to survive as a single mom, doing whatever it took to keep the bills paid, and never letting society's opinion of what s*x work is or should be hold me back 🙄

This book is mine. All of it.... and I'm so excited to share it with you. 🥰

I’m so excited to share that last night, I sent off the sponsorship for my own softball team and ngl, I got a little emotional about it. 🥹

Might not seem like a big deal to anyone else, but for me it's a full circle moment.

This year our coed team (shoutout Blunt Force) decided we wanted to put our own women's team together. I knew I didn't have the capacity to be head coach or anything crazy, so a few of us OG girls from the co-ed came together to make it happen! 💪🏻

We had our first practice last night, and I am so excited about bringing new women into this!! Getting back into softball has brought so much joy into my life this year, and there's something so different about women's sports specifically. The way we bond, the way we push each other, the way we actually want to see each other improve instead of compete for space.

I'm helping lead skills development for the women just starting out, and honestly? Practicing those leadership skills on the field is so good for me too! It will translate directly back into how I show up in my business.

Sponsoring this team is one of the coolest things I've gotten to do as a business owner so far. Proud of this one. 🥹🥹🥹

“When a flower grows wild, it can always survive… Wildflowers don’t care where they grow.”

Dolly Parton’s song Wildflowers taught me that being “wild” is a superpower.

The flowers that stay common and close, content to be lost in the crowd, never bother anyone. They don’t have room to grow, so they don’t threaten anything…But wildflowers? They don’t ask permission to exist. They don’t wait for the right soil, the right season, the right conditions. They just grow…anywhere, everywhere, on their own terms.

There was an era of my life where I felt like I didn’t have a home. No place where I belonged, no sense that I fit somewhere. I’d lost that feeling and didn’t know how to get it back. I kept looking for roots, for something to plant myself in and call permanent.

That’s when Dolly’s wildflowers taught me something different: I didn’t need my roots tangled up with others in order to grow…I just needed to let the wind carry me, and trust my own self.

As long as I stopped self-abandoning, looking to others to save me or make me feel secure….I would always be okay.

A wildflower doesn’t depend on anyone else’s ground to survive…it carries its own resilience with it, wherever the wind takes it.

That’s what power looks like. Real power is not needing a specific patch of earth to prove you belong somewhere. Real power is knowing you belong wherever you are, because you brought yourself there, and you can keep yourself alive and growing.

I stopped waiting to feel “planted” and started trusting that I could thrive without it.

Thank you, Dolly… for one of the greatest lessons I have ever learned.

Rest easy, Queen 💕

I promised myself I'd stop dividing myself into two people.

For a long time I've tried to be palatable enough for the business world. Polished. Safe. Easy to swallow.

Here's what I actually learned: my people find me because of how unpalatable I am. Not despite it.

Let's talk about black liquorice marketing for a second. Not everybody likes black liquorice. Most people don't, actually. But the people who do? They love it. Really love it. And that's the whole point, you're not for everyone, and you should never try to be.

My social media does more to advertise who I am than any generic marketing advice ever could, because I treat it like a personal blog, not a brand. And that includes the part of myself I used to try SO hard to keep separate: the era where I was a s*x worker.

So much of my power in the business world comes from that chapter. The lessons I learned there, most people never get access to. I'm a strong-boundary woman who can hold her own in a boardroom because of what that era taught me, not in spite of it.

I'm done dividing myself. All of me shows up now.

If you're in the business community reading this, truly my best marketing advice for todays world is this: show up as EXACTLY who you actually are... Even the parts you think you have to hide. Especially those.

You might not be ready to drop the people-pleasing and the catering to others just yet.... but I promise that when you do, you'll finally attract the RIGHT people into your life!

xoxo
