First happy customer. Installed a new ssd for someone this evening. A little install, swapping out a dead ssd for a working one. I also enabled a setting that should enable the free update to windows 11.

On a side note. Are you looking to upgrade to windows 11 but get the message that your pc doesn't meet the requirements? We'll this could be due to a security setting not being enabled on your pc.

This year coming, windows 10 will be reaching end of service life, which means once that happens, Microsoft will not be updating windows 10 with any new features or security updates (potentially).

There is a setting on the motherboard that enables the required security device requirement for windows 11.

From here on out, any installs or work on windows 10 machines will get this setting enabled free of charge.

If you are curious about the setting, it is TMP 2.0 or trusted media platform. There's several different versions based on the components in your computer but all do the same thing.

**machines running previous versions of windows prior to 10 would need the same feature enabled.

This evening I'm upgrading my graphics card in my pc as well as cleaning out the dust in it. Need a part replaced in your desktop? Have the part you need but unsure of how to install it? I can do it for you. Part installations by me can be done from 20 to 50 dollars depending on the part. Graphics cards and hard drives for 20, processors fir 35, and motherboards for 50. You must provide your parts. If you are unsure of what to get. I will help you pick the best fit for you at no extra cost. Advice is always free.

Don't forget too that I offer desktop cleaning services. A dusty computer is an unhappy computer. Just ask mine

Spring cleaning is in the air. Don't neglect having your pc cleaned, a dusty computer can build up heat and cause a short and harm your components.

For $30 I'll clean that dust out and have the inside of your case looking almost new.

Until may 1st I'll even bundle together hardware cleaning and softerware maintenance (virus scan included) for 40 dollars. A dusty computer is a sad computer.

Viewing the solar eclipse this Monday? Remember that your phone camera (or and camera) can be just as affected by the eclipse as your eyes. Wear the special glasses if you plan on watching the eclipse and if you also plan on recording it get a second pair of glasses to put on your phones camera.

Excited as I am for the eclipse? Until Tuesday April 9th I'm offering 10 dollars off my services (wipe and reinstall of windows excluded)

Due to rules and regulations around apple products, I am not offering services for as they require a certification otherwise warranty is void on the device. These are apples rules.
