Bell MTS is aware of a service interruption affecting some customers in downtown Winnipeg due to damaged telecommunications infrastructure after an accidental copper cable cut by a third party doing construction on Tuesday. The contractors drilled through multiple ducts resulting in significant damage to several cables, requiring extensive repairs. Our teams continue to be on site to restore service as quickly and safely as possible. We will provide updates as more information becomes available.
