Working on a new mod. Corsair 800D getting a modern upgrade.

Gonna run dual 360mm radiators, one in the front, one up top. Optical drives deleted except for one. Hard drive mounts relocated to under the shelf. Building a power supply shroud and a motherboard tray cover out of acrylic. Front is being opened up for air flow.

Ryzen 7 1700x, asus x370 crosshair, g.skill ddr4 3200 rgb, gpu undecided.

Turns out VR is a great family activify!

I brought a Gear VR with me during my Christmas dinner family tour. Everyone in my family got a taste of VR for Christmas, and every one of them was impressed by what they saw.

Benchmarks for VR are coming soon. I know, I've been fidling with it for some time already.

Futuremark is building a new benchmark for VR, and Tom’s Hardware was invited to take part in an early preview of VRMark's software and the hardware required to test VR headsets with it.

There's likely nothing to this story other than improper instalation, but be careful when installing your heatsink on a Skylake processor

Reports have begun to surface of Skylake CPUs and their corresponding motherboards being damaged from some cooling solutions. Some reports suggest that these chips have a weaker construction that can sustain damage when too much pressure is applied.

So Tim Cook certainly isn't the visionairy that Steve Jobs was.

With VR systems just months away that will require more powerful desktop PCs than the average gamer even has, there's still plenty of reason to buy a powerful desktop PC.

PC is nigh like we should even care.I think if you’re looking at a PC, why would you buy a PC anymore? No really, why would you buy one?Like everyone else
