This November, Manitoba stops changing its clocks. 🕐

Some of your IT systems didn't get the memo.

On November 1st, Manitoba won't fall back. We're staying at UTC−5 year-round, now officially called Manitoba Standard Time.

Here's what most don't know: for years, most software didn't offer Winnipeg as a time zone option. So "Chicago" or "US Central" got picked instead. It never mattered, because the two always matched.

After November 1, Chicago falls back an hour. Manitoba doesn't. And those settings won't fix themselves.

The systems most likely to end up an hour off:
🔹 Phone and voicemail systems
🔹 Time clocks and payroll
🔹 Alarm, access control and cameras
🔹 Scheduled reports and automated tasks
🔹 Industry-specific and cloud software

An hour sounds small until it's on a payroll record, a security camera timestamp, or a 9 a.m. meeting that shows up at 8.

Our advice: on Monday, November 2, take some time to check the systems you rely on most. If something's an hour off that week, this is probably why.

Spot something that's off? We're always here to help!

A hospital waiting room is a long place to be when you're seven.

The Hospital Activity Book for Children puts something in a kid's hands while they wait. Puzzles, colouring, dot-to-dots, designed to help kids talk about what they're feeling.

Constant C is proud to be listed as a Special Contributor in this year's book 💙

Thank you to the Hospital Activity Book for Children team, running this since 1995, and to their national partner Make-A-Wish Canada.

We've been in Manitoba since 1986, and everything we've built here was built alongside local businesses and local families.

The books stay in the region that funds them, so this support reaches kids being treated right here at home in Manitoba.

Showing up is the whole job. For our clients, and for our community.

We ranked them from "fine, we all do it" to "please call someone today."

Swipe to find out how bad it gets. And be honest with yourself on slide 4 👀
