We’re heading to Portugal for a two week creative sabbatical ✈️

A chance to study hand-painted traditional tiles, take cooking classes, explore cobbled streets, and reconnect with making with intention.

Because sometimes inspiration looks like getting out of your usual environment and letting another place teach you something.

Some things are worth returning to 🐝

After last year’s fall market Scattered Seeds () invited us back to shape their spring market theme.

This time, we leaned into the language of craft:
Hand-carved textures.
Stamp-like forms.
Colours that feel like they’re just beginning to bloom 💐

A celebration of spring, of makers, of Mother’s Day weekends spent wandering, discovering, and bringing something meaningful home.

The best part? What we built goes beyond a single season.

This identity was designed to evolve and to become something familiar over time.

We’re already dreaming about what it becomes in the fall.

The same foundation, gently shifted for fall colours and motifs.

We’re excited to share that next week Little Ghost founder, Robyn, will be speaking at Market Forward by AAW () as part of the panel Changemakers in Accessibility: Why Inclusive Marketing Matters.

Living with multiple sclerosis has deeply shaped how Robyn thinks about design, growth, and the importance of building brands and experiences that truly welcome people.

This conversation will explore what accessibility really looks like in the real world, beyond the checklists, the guidelines, and the good intentions.

Welcoming PowerMarket.io into the studio

We’re beginning an illustration system extension project with a community-focused clean energy company helping people across the United States access solar without panels, installation, or cost to join.

PowerMarket connects renters, homeowners, schools, and neighbourhood organizations to local solar projects so people can save on their utility bills while supporting cleaner energy in their own communities.

At the heart of this work:
→ Clarity, so community solar feels easy to understand
→ Trust, in a category where decisions matter
→ A brand system that feels welcoming and optimistic

Through this brand extension, we’re shaping illustrations that puts people first.

Community solar isn’t something we talk about much in Canada.

What if the feeling of a country could be told in colour?

Each tone a window into a place, a flavour, a scent, a feeling.

Chile, distilled into sixteen hues 🇨🇱

We shaped a palette where each of Chile’s sixteen regions is represented through colour, carefully woven from the textures of land, culture, and the senses.

This is a small glimpse of the larger brand story we’ll be unveiling soon.

A reminder that brand systems can do more than look good, they can carry the soul of a place.

Some projects stay quietly tucked away.

In 2024, our team created a series of winter window decals for Chaeban Ice Cream () as an invitation to come in from the cold and a reminder that winter is, in fact, the perfect time for affogatos, ice cream on pie, and hot chocolate swirled with ice cream.

In Canada, we know winter isn’t the end of ice cream season.

It’s a reason to enjoy it differently.

The designs never made it onto the windows, but as the snow begins to fall again, we’re reminded of the warmth behind them.

We believe the best brands are rooted in place.

For 269 River, that story began on a historic map of Osborne Village dating to 1945 where we uncovered a long-forgotten street name: Elswood.

100 years ago, Elswood Street would have been the address of this new community.

Today, that hidden history lives again as The Elswood | Timeless Living in Winnipeg’s Heart.

Our team shaped the name, tagline, brand strategy and visual identity for this new urban community.

The groundbreaking ceremony takes place today with Freedhome Developments (.developments) and Brokenhead Ojibway Nation.

What if your brand could see further than you can?

That quiet question guided our work with Home One (.minimal), a German design company with a vision that stretched beyond tiny homes.

At the time, they were still known as Cabin One, a name that no longer reflected their ambition to be seen as a single-family home builder.

This year, that vision took form.

House One, their first single-family home, is built.

Proof that when a brand makes space for your future, the future can meet you there.
