Big update! The patent application for the Direct Room Economizer was finally allowed by the USPTO last week! Once formal documents are received we'll then be paying the patent fees and changing our marketing material from 'Patent Pending' to 'Patented'.

Big thanks to Kyle from ADECO for all his help in the process. This could not have been done without him. Over 2.5 years in the process, and numerous amendments later, the resultant patent grants sufficient IP coverage for present designs and a few modified ones in the future.

Next, can we get the investment capital to begin an early production run for beta testers to measure energy efficiency? Our computer modelling suggests it will outperform solar panels in many climate zones, but without the capital to evaluate this, we will not know.

The success of the company is now in the hands of smart investors!

- How well insulated is your building?
- How bad are venting losses in your building?
- How much sunlight enters your windows?
- How well ventilated is your attic?
- How much shade does your property have?
- What climate do you live in? Does it receive enough sun?
- How much can you save by lowering your thermostat?
- What is your ambient heat? Have a lot of electronics?

The calculator loads historical regional weather data to run iterative simulations to give you a sense where you can improve on value.. including unit cost comparisons, per dollar invested, to save money with some devices.
