If you rely on the Commercial Driver Registration Program (CDRP), it's time to update your trusted trader strategy. Due to low uptake (only 158 applications last year), the CBSA officially closed the CDRP to new applications on September 1, 2026.

What does this mean for current CDRP holders?
✅ Your current card is safe: Existing memberships remain fully valid until their printed expiration date.
✅ Recent submissions: If you submitted a CDRP application on or before September 1, it is still in the queue and being processed.

The Recommended Shift: Move to FAST 🚚
