After a long time of not posting anything. Going to now state that I am now doing a series of tutorials for programming. I have had some time lately to dedicate to such an endeavor, so figured I would share them.

Been adding some more Github repos as the day goes on, now I am expanding on demonstrating some of the Android stuff that I have been working on:

These are incredibly basic in the scheme of Android OS, though these are some of the exercises that have been getting me a bit better prepared for a bigger project.

I will be uploading a couple more of my mini Android apps that I completed tonight. I am going to be uploading smaller projects that I have been working on over the last several months, along with some of the newer ones that now I am beginning to get a better grasp on how to use Git. Commercial applications of course, the repositories I wouldn't make publicly accessible. Though I like posting the source code to most of my work, just because I would like to really populate this thing before making necessary amendments to the website.

PERSONAL UPDATES:

Not really a whole lot since the last post has changed, beyond just still chipping a way at some of these module based exercises that are integral to doing fuller scale applications. I do have a couple of ideas for some bigger things that are going to have to be built near the end of the term, so as I work on those things, I am going to be giving some brief updates in regards to how that will happen. Outside of that, that is really all for now.

All of my personal code is opensource so if anyone wants to play with anything I built, even make it better, I am more than happy for that! This term we are going to be doing a lot of different things with GIT, so trust me that there are now going to be more updates considering the timeframe.

PERSONAL UPDATES-
I ended up taking the end of July to the beginning of this month off, because I seriously needed sometime off in regards of doing coding like I have been doing. I am back ,refreshed, and now looking to share some of the cool stuff I have been working on!

In regards of the personal website still being a static page that is kind of ascetically broken, I am anticipating on doing some updates, and revisions in the near future once I break back into a bit of a routine. The video tutorials are on the back burner for now, because honestly at that time I was just very burnt out. As much as I would of liked to put more time into that, that is a work in progress currently.

My job outside of this has nothing to do with tech and I had to break back into my normal everyday profession during the time I was off from coding. Now that I am broken back into doing that, I can proceed with this time intensive endeavor.

I am going to be offering to do some website work and computer repairs down the line too, once I get all of this other leg work more developed. Either way, it is good to be back, and looking forward to sharing some of the things that I drive myself crazy doing.

Doing this type of thing is indeed a slow and cumbersome process, especially trying to develop more of an actual body of content. The upcoming weeks and months I will have some exciting updates. Thank you for everyone who followed, very encouraging people are interested in the stuff that I do!

I have about 3 more videos in the que, with in the next couple of days I should have them posted. The first chapter hopefully should be all posted by the end of the week. All of these things I am going to type out in HTML form on the Golden Maple website under the tutorials once I get that far. This will be a little bit further in the future though, because I am mainly just focused on transcriptions. Chapter 1 will be algebraic basics, and Chapter 2 will be functions. In the videos themselves, there will be timestamps eventually, along with subtitles (if I can get them to work.) The timestamps would serve as a better keynote for concepts in that chapter.

Along with the other aspects will be incorporated once I have a good amount of videos posted, then of course the interactive exercises will be programmed into the HTML pages later. This entire series goes from the basics until it deviates into the beginnings of multivariable calculus, so it is going to be quite the project. So it is indeed going to be a slow but steady streak of posts. I am thinking a lot of August is just going to be dedicated to the tutorials and getting the actual website complete. So this is the current direction that I am going on here, with some other goodies along the way in video form that I will demonstrate. Such as the ROM hacks I made and other programs I wrote, to just illustrate how they work and maybe getting into the nuances to how I wrote them. To then after the math tutorials are good, I can deviate into programming stuff. Math is just the important stuff for now, because mathematics is programming, and vise versa.

Been working on something special over the last little bit, hence why there have been a lack of updates. Been working on some Math tutorials that I have always wanted to do, but never had the time, or equipment to do. Since at this stage in the game I have all of the necessary tools, I can begin the transcription phase. These will be hosted on my official YouTube page, which I will post in Chapter format from the book of notes I wrote. On my personal page, I always used to post formulas and stuff that I was studying on my own leisure back in 2014-2017. Well, this was the entire thing that I was working on in the background. The reason why I stopped was mainly because I wanted to get a better understanding of not only the content, but also ways of being able to present the content.

Meaning that this sort of is like the app I wanted to create, but back in those days I was not quite aware of the nuances of programming as I am aware of today. On my website there will be an independent section hosting these tutorials along with their modules that I am going to hand code and incorporate into something cool. Been drafting this out over the last few weeks, so forgive me for my lack of updates. I know I should of been developing the actual site to make it look presentable, but getting these videos transcriptions actually complete have been a heck of a process. Educational apps are something that I feel passionately about and to be honest with the entire scenario of how COVID did show a surge of intrigue in that type of thing, inspired me to re-explore what was a dead in the water type of idea. Since this page more or so serves as my portfolio page, I like to be able to share some of my crazy concepts.

Since this year I will be expanding in my studies more into IOS and Android development, maybe by next summer I can have the beginnings of this app actually in the works. Who knows, or maybe I might get distracted and be working on something completely different by then. Either way, beginning work on the Technical Math App. The video tutorials I want to incorporate, because gives more visual, and audio learners something to follow along with. Plus, helps jog my memory from going through my notes, while I am beginning to brainstorm some modules to base around these things. Maybe I can come up with some cool modules that I can share not only the finished code on the actual thing, but any nerds out there that want to make their own variants, then I can share the source code as I do them module by module.

I am 100% opensource so anything that I do in this fashion is entirely free, with no money required. I will be hosting some crypto wallets and Paypal links people could donate on the personal site, because having a way to finance this type of project later down the pike would be nice.
