Here's another site I launched earlier this year, for an incredible local contractor. I love working with people in the contracting/construction/woodworking industries, because not only do they understand and value the design and build process, but they also have the most amazing pictures of their work to build into the design, and this definitely applied to RowMac Construction. This was another successful collaboration with my designer, Alexis.

It was a pleasure working with you on your website, Michael, and I look forward to a long working relationship with you as your web person. :)

I'm a bit behind on posting website launches, so here's another one that hit the world wide web a couple of weeks ago. This was a redesign for a very talented local woodworker, who makes absolutely gorgeous kitchens, built-ins, furniture, etc. My amazing designer, Alexis, helped me out with this one, and I swear, when we work together on designs, the sites turn out so much better than either of us do alone. I'm so proud of how this one came together. Congrats on your new website, Rod!

A few weeks ago, I launched this brand new website for an amazing woman who I've known for many years. I'm so honoured she trusted me with her website for her new business, and I'm super excited to see how well she does with it. It was also extra special that she commissioned custom, hand-drawn icons from a friend of hers, who did an incredible job, and I think, added a very cool vibe to the design. Thanks so much, Emma and Ris!! 🩷

I'm looking forward to volunteering again this year at WordCamp Canada!!
This two-day conference encompassing everything WordPress takes place at Carleton University this Thursday and Friday.
It's a honour to be a part of it and to mingle with so many other professionals. Last year, I was paired up with a woman who is an expert in accessibility and I learned a ton from her. I can't wait to see who I meet this year.

I'm so honoured to be a repeat guest on Josh Hall's Web Design Business Podcast! Josh is my web design business coach, and it was in his premium online community that I found my incredible lead designer, Alexis.

I was a guest on his podcast in November, 2023, talking about my 10 year anniversary as a web designer and business owner and my journey through breast cancer.

The only thing we love more than building a brand new website for a new client, is building a brand new website for a longtime client.
We've been hosting and maintaining Monika Ferenczy's business website, Horizon Educational Consulting, for several years now, and did a bit of a makeover design on it a couple of years ago. Last year, we built a website for her that allows parents and caregivers to rate their school board based on a number of criteria.
Monika has authored 4 books over the years, with more in the works. She decided she wanted a separate website to showcase her books and provide readers with links to sites where they could purchase them. That site just made its debut on the world wide web. It was built by Alexis in a minimalistic style. Monika loves it, and so do I. What do you think?
