For a long time, I questioned whether it was okay to slow down in the summer.

I wondered if I should create a business that kept growing while I stepped away.

But then I realized something...

I didn't want to build a business that required me to keep one eye on my phone all day.

I didn't want to miss these moments because I was mentally somewhere else.

I love what I do, and I work hard throughout the rest of the year.

But every summer reminds me why I built this business in the first place.

Not just to grow.
Not just to reach another milestone.

But because my goals have always included being here for these moments.

Watching my kids play together.
Taking memorable trips.
Spending time with family and friends.
Being present instead of preoccupied.

These summers are short.

The projects will still be there when the kids head back to school.

Preparing for a tradeshow is a lot of work. 😅😅

It is so worth it because it stretches you to think bigger and invites forward this whole other level of creativity.

Not every business has time to do all the things to prepare, but as a local business you can still benefit from a tradeshow to meet all the vendors that are there!

You never know what connection you will make that would serve as a great source of referral.

No matter what phase your business is at, there are always opportunities to grow.
