🧭 How to enroll in Microsoft extended security update for windows 10 (step-by-step)

On your computer:

1. Open start menu
2. Open Settings
3. Go to:Update & Security → Windows Update

4. Look for “Enroll in Extended Security Updates (ESU)”
5. Click “Enroll now”
6. Sign in to your Microsoft account (if prompted)
7. Choose one of the enrollment options:
* Free (if available)
* Microsoft Rewards points
* Paid

Once done, your device is registered and will keep receiving critical security updates through Windows Update till October 13 2026.

Our donation bin is officially stocked thanks to our amazing community. We’ve refreshed these 10 units with Windows 10, and they’re ready to plug and play.

We love seeing tech go to those who need it rather than a landfill!

We’ll have the donation cart set up in front of the shop at Thrift Computers - 1351 Johnston Road from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
