Built some new speaker cabinets for the studio. There’s 2 speakers, and each one has a tweeter, four 5” mids, and six 7” subs. I went with a sealed design for the subwoofer enclosure, rather than a ported enclosure, for snappier response, and a more even frequency response. The trade off with a ported design, is that a port gets more low frequency volume, but not as accurate of sound quality. So I decided on better sound quality at the expense of volume, because these twelve 7” subs are seriously loud anyways! You can see the bracing inside the subwoofer enclosure, which makes it more rigid and increases sound quality. Tons of clean power supplied from an Ashley Pema 8125. This system is the rare combination of being extremely loud, well balanced, and high fidelity.
